Helping Daddy in the Yard

Ethan and Sophie love to help Daddy in the yard. Here they are playing with the hose nozzles. What a pair!!!

FAUX-HAWK

Ethan got his "summer" haircut. I guess the name is because it is not a full mohawk. With the spikes only on the top it is termed a "faux- hawk" :)

Finally something NEW

Sophie had her 2nd birthday party. She wanted to have a Cinderella party. Along with many great gifts from family and friends, she received this dress up outfit from Ethan. We all had a great time.

Grapefruit for Breakfast.

Although it was fun to pick, the kids did not enjoy the taste of grapefruit. Nannie, Nono and I enjoyed the pink and white grapefruit though.

Ethan can swim

Ethan learned the first day how to swim with swimmies. He was then free to go all by himself all around the pool. He knew how to keep his mouth out of the water, and even how to play with toys, and stay afloat. It is really amazing to watch how fast he is growing.

Daddy and Sophie

Sophie got a new bathing suit from Nannie. She was very eager to wear it, once she saw her brother swimming. She was very comfortable when we were holding her. She will be ready for swimmies next year.

Here are the guys relaxing in the hot tub. As you can see, it was another rough day on vacation.

A day at the park

Nannie and Nono took us all to the park on Wednesday. I took a walk with Nannie and Ethan and Sophie got to play with Daddy and Nono. As you can see it was a fun time, and tired the two of them out.

A sweet ending

Ethan has learned that at Nannie's house there is always dessert. If you eat all your dinner that is. They did a fantastic job eating dinner, and were rewarded with a cool dessert.
