The kids first trip to Canobie Lake

Rude Awakening
A few weeks ago, remnants of hurricane Hanna came through, and left A LOT of water... well actually Goldfish pond, left all the water. Apparently there was Beaver activity at the point of drainage, and TADA!!! Flooding. We are a street over from the Crosbie Street flooding. Brian woke up to get a drink and he heard the alarm on the dryer. He went to the basement to check the dryer and before he got to the bottom, he was in the water.... Oh what a wonderful way to start the day!!!
The Flood
When we got up at 5am, and noticed the flood, it was a bit odd. Be, that that it was only 5 am, or just not thinking at that hour, but when I looked out, and noticed that the street was dry both to the left, and to the right, I was dumbfounded. Then it came to me, that all this water was coming up from the storm drains in front and across the street from us. AAGGGHHHH what a way to wake up!!!

Perkins Cove in Ogunquit Maine
Brian and I planned a fun day at the Beach with the kids, and to my surprise... My sister and her family were headed to the same spot!!! Boy, great minds think alike.
One last summer outing
Mommy and Ethan were running back and forth to this rock in between waves. Daddy was trying to take a snooze... with Ethan's Dino in hand :)
Sophia was not a real fan of the waves. She did enjoy playing with the rocks with Edie and Auntie.
Ethan really enjoyed "sinking" in the quick sand.
