Helicopter Rides!!

We followed the helicopters to the field. We saw them all land and take off. The wind was a little strong for kids, but they got over it because it was more interesting than scary. Bri had thoughts of going up, but the line was crazy long.

The TRAIN

This tractor transformed into a train, was good enough for Ethan. He is into trains and this one went all around the field. We had a fun ride, and he was waving to everyone we passed. We both added in a few TOOT TOOTS, and CHUGGA CHUGGA's!!!!!

Pittsfield Hot Air Balloon Ralley

Today we did something a little different. We set out on our adventure after 5!!! We got to the field just around 6pm. Ethan kept asking to see the balloons. We told him on the way up that we were going to see BIG balloons. He was excited to see just how big they were.

They are so BIG.

You don't realize how massive these balloons are until you are sitting on the ground just a few feet away.

My personal favorite

I really like the colors and the tree on this one. There are also animals on the other side. This balloon gave rides up and down, but was tethered so that it would not take flight. You can see how many people it took to keep it anchored.

Twinkle

When all the balloons were up they wait until dusk and then each flash a flame on and off. It was really a neat scene. The wind was pushing these guys all over the place. Only one took off to check weather conditions. It was neat to see them all light up at the same time. The kids loved it and clapped at each one.

Wild Sunset through the Clouds.

We went outside because there was an eerie glow coming through the blinds. As we stood in amazement looking up in the sky, we saw all these colors. I have never seen anything like this before. Then in a matter of two minutes, it was dark as night outside. I hope that the pics do it justice.

Someone's a Big Boy now!!!

He's a big boy now!!! Free can you believe it. I love hand me downs and this is the mother load. Ethan loves his new big boy bed from Tristan. He thinks that he is a dog, and that he sleeps in the dog house. Hey... whatever gets them into bed right? This comes complete with a bunk on top, the dresser draws on the far right of picture and a desk on the left by the door. On the inside where he sleeps, Ethan has lots of cubby holes that will hold his toys. Thank you again Holly for thinking of us before you get rid of the bed.

Clean up is also FUN

It was a hot one today, so we set the little pool back up. We had a great weekend.
